Summary:
Performs duties as assigned by the Director of Distribution regarding the building and all of the functions that go on in a distribution center. This position may also fill in for the Director in his/her absence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains current knowledge of incoming shipments in order to prepare for daily work. Supervises QC, Receiving, Shipping, picking, packing, pack and hold, and office personnel to ensure timely and accurate movement of merchandise through building. Must be able to perform all job functions of the employees reporting to this positon. Partners with HR on departmental issues as per the company's policy. Helps coordinate the QC/receiving process to ensure that processes are timely and accurate. Maintains good communication with all management and personnel regarding business and job requirements. Keeps costs in line with budget and process all expense bills. Employs the use of the AS400 computer system for trouble shooting of problem PO's, receipts, and miscellaneous merchandise issues. Continually seeks opportunities to improve processes or reduce costs associated with processes. Must have general knowledge of entire distribution process to be able to run building independently and fill in for Director in his/her absence. Must be able to identify and resolve different problems that occur. Keeps building well maintained by working with maintenance staff. Ensures associates adheres to the OSHA's guidelines regarding good safety practices in the work environment. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent demonstrated management and leadership skills as this position directly and indirectly supervises 9 or more salaried associates, plus 80 - 300 hourly associates. Experience:
Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent 3 years of management experience in a distribution environment, or 5 years of management experience in a distribution operation. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, purchase orders and office procedures/memos. Ability to speak effectively with vendors and fellow associates is essential to this job. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
